Google suggest

Google suggest is the complete as you type search thing from Google. I discovered it since it's activated by default on the toolbar, which now works with Firefox 1.5. I've often been concerned about how much more corralled I feel since Google finds what I want so perfectly. I remember in the old days of AltaVista, I had to plough through lots of dross to get where I wanted, but found useful stuff from time to time. But, hey, I am putting this in via the cool Blog This button.

beginning

I thought it would be useful to have a non-specific blog, although it's going to be more connected to my professional life.

Under Laboratory Conditions

The first of my programmes is broadcast on BBC Four this evening at 9pm. All comments gratefully received. I put up a webpage with some puff and links to the contibutors.
